<<<<<<< A reader recently accused me of “bashing” my fellow pastors and said that what I am writing sounds “hateful.”
I realize that not everyone who reads my columns and posts is truly familiar with me. I have been in the Gospel ministry my entire adult life. If one includes my ministerial training days, that means for over four decades. I am not an outsider; I am not a novice. I’ve been around pastors all of my life. I know how they think, what they read, how they spend their “off” days, and what makes them tick.
I believe I am more than qualified to address the “pastor problem” that we have today. I know that there are many great patriot-pastors out there; but I also know that overall, they are far and few between. The vast majority of today’s pastors are unwilling to even look at the responsibility they have to resist evil government. They are as guilty as the pastors in Germany who did nothing to resist, or who even helped facilitate, Hitler’s rise to power. And I will NOT give them a pass!
Pastors are God’s watchmen and the nation’s spiritual shepherds. If they choose to ignore their responsibility to warn the people of the attacking wolves that are devouring our liberties, they are the enemies of freedom AND SHOULD BE IDENTIFIED AS SUCH. At the same time, I am trying to educate and inspire Christian men and women in the pews to stop assisting these spineless pastors. If the pulpit will not lead, the pew must! My disappointment, and even anger, at Mr. Graham’s endorsement of universal background checks cannot be put into words. When America falls into tyranny and oppression it will be with the help and assistance of the likes of Franklin Graham and Richard Land. In fact, it is no hyperbole to say that pastors and Christians all over America are facilitating their own slavery. Adolf Hitler would never have been able to become the fuhrer of Germany without the collaboration and cooperation of Germany’s evangelical pastors and churches. It is an absolute truth that the blood of Hitler’s victims flows to the doorsteps of Germany’s churches. There were some 14,000 evangelical churches in Germany at the time Hitler and his fellow Nazis were rising to power. Out of those 14,000 pastors and churches, only 800 had the courage and sagacity to oppose Hitler. That equates to about 5%. Graham and Land are either totally ignorant of the meaning and ramification of “universal background checks” or they are willing participants in America’s subservience to an ever-burgeoning police state. Either way, they are both on the wrong side of the Bible and history.
We live in a corrupted sin fallen world which is full of hypocrisy. Presently, Obama is under legal investigation by Sheriff Joe Arpaio. It has been established that Obama is where he is at because of forged ID documents. Where is the outcry of Franklin Graham and Richard Land over this sinful fraud? Why do they allow themselves to be used as Obama pawns?
Let’s be clear about what is being proposed. President Barack Obama and his gaggle of gun-grabbers are trying to accomplish three things: 1) they want to ban all semi-automatic rifles, 2) they want to ban all high-capacity magazines, 3) they want to ban the right of individuals to freely buy and sell their personal firearms. This third initiative is commonly called “universal background checks.” But what it would actually do is prohibit private citizens from being able to freely buy and sell their own personal firearms. This is an egregious assault against both the right to keep and bear arms and the private ownership of personal property. Should this universal background check bill become law, it would be a crime for individuals to buy or sell a firearm without filling out a government form similar to the one firearm dealers are required to fill out, which equates to asking the State for permission to purchase a gun. In essence, private citizens would be subject to all the laws and penalties as are licensed gun dealers. Can you imagine: a father would not be able to freely pass down a cherished family firearm to his children; people would not be able to freely exchange firearms in either gift or purchase form; and anyone attempting to buy or sell a firearm would become an agent of the State………

Are they unaware that the tyrants and butchers of history have ALL used gun registration as a precursor to gun confiscation? Are they unaware that gun confiscation ALWAYS precedes genocide and mass murder? Instead of calling for universal background checks, Franklin Graham should be shouting for government to abandon their “gun free zones” and demand that people be allowed to universally defend themselves. Instead of coming to the aid of big-government zealots who desire to trample constitutional liberties, Franklin Graham should be shouting for the President and members of the US House and Senate (including Dianne Feinstein) to abide by their oaths to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and keep their grubby fingers off our gun rights. I further suggest that Franklin Graham and Richard Land obtain a copy of my new book entitled, “To Keep or Not To Keep: Why Christians Should Not Give Up Their Guns,” which is co-written by my constitutional attorney son, Tim. We delve deeply into the Old and New Testaments and conclusively show that nowhere does the Bible teach that Christians (or anyone else) should ever surrender their firearms in the face of any would-be tyrant. And nowhere does the Bible teach gun registration or background checks or anything of the sort. All men (not just Christians) are given an unalienable, God-given, Natural right of self-defense. Gun control fanatics always come out of the woodwork after a national firearm massacre. What they fail to realize, is that they are part of the problem – restricting Americans to defend themselves. It is my contention that our world would not make sense if there were no literal hell. If certain human beings of past, present and future exercised their free moral will to commit horrendous acts upon their fellow human beings and ultimately “get away” with it, then, how could one reasonably believe in goodness, love, heaven – and, especially, “justice?” Even the hardened Nazi war criminals (as they appeared at the Nuremberg Trials), had to cover their faces in shame as real live movie footage was displayed in court, chronicling their holocaust atrocities. The Obama media have provided a protective cocoon around Obama. Whenever there is viable and legitimate criticism of their hero idol, this same media goes berserk with their perspective carnival barking cat calls of denunciations. Even the Republican Party with their presumptive nominee, bends to this political correctness agenda. The expected Republican Convention “tone” will be that Obama is a nice guy but, unfortunately incompetent to perform the duties of US chief executive.
History doesn’t matter with mainstream media, and its worshiping devotees of both political parties, hell-bent on protecting an unconstitutional president who illegitimately occupies the US White House. Neither does the US Constitution matter. The only thing that matters with the lapdog media and its mesmerized public is to create the illusion of America’s first “black” president. Anyone with a factual difference of opinion about that purported propaganda; or, anyone found (by them in disagreement) is therefore spotlighted in anathema and ridicule fashion; targeted as a conspiracy theorist, fanatic, “birther,” and / or racist.
However, be that as it may, this author still has hope in American voters’ sense of honesty and intelligence. It is my growing opinion that reasonable and thinking US voters are sick and tired of mainstream media’s thirsting infantile fascination with their propaganda lactating lying “president.” Most everything that this smoke and mirrors White House occupier has done since usurping the Executive office, has had the detrimental effect of destroying traditional and patriotic America. Reality needs to be on display, spotlighting Obama as not the man that the media portrays him; but rather a monster of stupendous and embarrassing proportions!
