It’s rare as hen’s teeth that this Moralmatters author should receive razor-edge feedback from one of his faithful readers. The reaction comment was received via private message soon after the shocked reader viewed the following Moralmatters commentary:
Comment from the (apparent) traumatized Moralmatters Reader, over what was perceived as a special History Channel series hit piece by Moralmatters:
“When I saw it, I was horrified. It was blanket character assassination of the producers, cast, crew, financiers, network. As for timeframe, they were filming shortly up through the last episode. Corsi wrote and published a full length book based on these docs almost a year earlier. There WAS time to do the series.
Bob Baer is a proven government whistleblower – go look. You should have, before you gunned for him.”
Needless to elaborate, the (aforementioned) stinging private message left me studded in my stout tracks. In wounded narcissistic fashion, I recoiled. Bursting forth in my stuck psychic, frothed pulsating thoughts:
“How dare this faithful Moralmatters reader question this Moralmatters author? How dare this reader accuse me of being unfair and without feeling! How dare this Moralmatters reader think that Moralmatters should take a History Channel series, seriously, and become so emotionally involved with its character cast!”
I swiftly gathered my offended cerebral synapses and rifled back the following apologetic (defensive) response:
“I returned to the MM ‘Hunting Hitler’ article after reading your comment about it. Although I appreciate your stiff criticism of that article, the one thing that stood out (to me) was that the MM commentary offered to its audience, multiple questions. The very title ended with a question mark. Also, the second last sentence ended with a question mark, followed by the last several short sentences, exhorting the web reader to ‘think.’
(Mind you; the commentary was not authored or intended to be a ‘shotgun pellet, shoot from the hip’ endeavor. And, at the same time, it was not this Moralmatters author’s style to leave the web reader ‘in the dark’ as to his definite opinion).
Total question marks for the whole commentary? I count 20 question marks (which include the title). I hardly think that the Moralmatters ‘Hunting Hitler’ commentary was an intended ‘hit-job.’ The first pic was about ‘Critical thinking.’ Moralmatters author desires his readers to think critically. He always states towards the end of each MM posting:
‘A thinking person will question what he hears; examine what he sees; and evaluate what others would have him believe.’
‘When did big government and its mainstream media tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?’However, upon further reflection (after cooling down) I thought of one major possibility that Moralmatters did not consider about the History Channel’s “Hunting Hitler” series. That possibility was initially “cloud-hidden” from my thoughts because Moralmatters was too busy doing what he usually does, debunking what he perceives as the usual (“obvious”) propaganda.
I continued to answer the shaken Moralmatters reader with (another) plausible scenario as to the one major question in my commentary:
“Bari [aka Obama] may have allowed the release of the hundreds of pages of newly ‘unclassified’ documents as a ‘release valve’ for the deep demon depression he has been experiencing.
By usage of the History Channel ‘Hunting Hitler’ series, Bari is subtly displaying to the world his grandfather’s genius; while at the same time presenting his third finger. It’s like he is saying:
‘My flesh and blood did not fail! He only went underground. He survives in me! F-you, all! The Nazi NWO will be accomplished!”
Moralmatters does think that our modern-day Nazi Bâri’ Hitler-Shabazz (Aka Barack Obama did make the decision to unclassify the FBI documents. He did so as a world-wide “in your face” gesture, in tribute to grandfather Adolf. And, to flash before the world that he and his Nazi cabal will slither forward, come “hell or high water.”
As to the offense that this author may have given to the cast, crew and producers of the History Channel “Hunting Hitler” series, I offer you my abundant apologies, contingent (of course) upon your innocent (non-crisis acting, non-covert) participation in the 8 part series, to be continued. Please spare this Moralmatters author some allowance. Should he not be naturally suspicious of an ex CIA operative? And should he not be afforded the leniency of poking some fun at Mr. Kennedy for his superb acting skill, mimicking Beaver Cleaver?
