Professional Football Players: Stand Up And Acknowledge Your Subsidized Multi-Million Dollar Employment

“The best way to understand the world and political affairs, is to acknowledge the depravity of man; the depravity of human nature.”

Football players should stand for the National Anthem. As inconsistent as the Anthem, is, referring to Spy-State, America, being the “land of the free,” professional football players should acknowledge how America has supported and funded their well-paid multi-million dollar jobs. After all, aren’t junior high, high school and college football programs an elaborate “farm system?” all funded and subsidized by American taxpayers?

How many professional football players are there who haven’t come up through the ranks of taxpayer-supported schools? They are fewer than hen’s teeth.

Professional Football Players: Stand up and acknowledge some gratefulness. Stand up and acknowledge your subsidized multi-million dollar employment!

  1. Douglas says:

Eight years of Obama-the-Racist gave these players permission to be overt whining troublemakers.

Rosa Parks had a legitimate complaint. These multi-millionaire sports players are living the high-life.

When you’re a performer, you play by all the Rules. If you don’t like the Rules…quit.

BTW….if there were no Veterans….there would not be a place called the United States of America.

    1. Douglas –

      Excellent comments!

I hope that more and more people boycott these crybabies!

  2. Martha Trowbridge says:

This sort of behavior by America’s obscenely overpaid – and inappropriately idolized – athletes only serves to reveal what darn fools Americans are to support the contemporary professional athlete ‘system’.

    1. Martha –

Agreed! “Darn fools” is a very apt description for Americans who are supportive of this system of athletics!

And, spot-on, about the athletes being “obscenely” overpaid. Also, being “idolized!” They are held in high esteem while (sadly) at the same time, American Veterans are poorly regarded for having given their limbs and their lives!
