Propaganda mainstream media does it again. It does what it does best. Fomenting a set agenda; another slandering hit job. It molests words, taking them out of context and reporting something other.
This time, the slander leveled, was about what presidential hopeful, Donald Trump, stated, as he described his GOP opponent’s pathological penchant for an out-of-control temper. Pernicious mainstream media now (erroneously) claims that Donald Trump compared Dr. Ben Carson to a child molester.
Following, are Trump’s actual words about “pathological” in reference to Ben Carson:
“…………He said he’s pathological. Somebody said he has this pathological disease. Other people said he said in the book; I haven’t seen it. But I know it’s in the book; that he’s got a pathological temper or temperament. That’s a big problem, because you don’t cure that. That’s like [you know] I could say, they say, you don’t cure, as an example, child molester. You don’t cure these people. You don’t cure a child molester. There’s no cure for it. Pathological: there’s no cure for that.” – https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/donald-trump-compares-ben-carson-child-molester-video-013725544.html
This author took the liberty to underline and mark bold Trump’s qualifying words, what mainstream media refuse to recognize. It’s obvious mainstream media arrogantly refuse to understand Trump’s analogy explanation, when he used the example of a child molester’s pathological behavior. Donald Trump was clearly zeroing-in on the dangers of possessing a pathological personality, should that person be elected, as America’s president.
This Moralmatters author is only privy to what the mainstream media article reported and its 30 second video. He is suspicious of the female interviewer’s facial body language. It’s a type-of (appreciative / satisfied) “cat swallowing the canary” look. Which leads Moralmatters to ask:
“Was Donald Trump being baited? And (if so) was he part of a contrived interview process to say some scripted ‘lines?'” I hope and pray that he was not. We already have a (scripted) false reality president. America does not need another.
