Please attend to the 5 minute musical video following the Moralmatters commentary. Especially note the lyrics:
This Moralmatters author was gone from his computer most of the day. During that time he had two separate conversations with two family members. The conversations entailed a major commonality. They revolved around the aspect that reality and truth is absent from government and mainstream media. The other common threads that were present during these two conversations were:
What difference does it make in your [Nathan Bickel’s] life whether government and mass media lie? What can you do about it? What control do you have over it? The other “common thread” was the subtle aspect that this Moralmatters author would just as well not communicate about government contrived propaganda and violence events because its author does not have at his fingertips all the available information.
When I finally turned on my computer and visited Moralmatters.org after a long day of not accessing it, I was “struck” at what I witnessed to be the top ten Moralmatters commentaries. In an instance, I felt vindicated from the well-intended 2 family member critics.
What I discovered on the Moralmatters.org page was the public’s interest level, as represented by the top 10 accessed Moralmatters postings:
Please look at every one (listed below). You will notice one common thread: Those commentaries are all about how people have been deceived. Notice how most accessed, are those events and people in which deceit and lies have been perpetrated upon fellow human beings.
A whistle blower is without support – even from family. This Christian emeritus pastor is reminded of what Christ Jesus said:
“A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” – Gospel of Mark 6:1-6 – NKJV
This Moralmatters author is also reminded that deceit perpetrated upon the first humans (Adam and Eve) ended up hurtling this world into a perpetual state of inherited and actual sin (Romans 5:11). It was that first temptation – “Yea, hath God said?” that is repeatedly utilized (throughout human history) to destroy, virtue, [good] morality, reality and truth – and, especially, priceless souls. Those who are content to allow lies and deceit are those who work against Creator / God Almighty and His truth, which perpetually marches on.
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” – Ephesians 5:11 – NKJV
Notice the common thread of the current top ten postings and pages:

Once To Every Man And Nation – hymntime.com/tch/htm/o/n/c/oncetoev.htm
Once to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
Some great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,
And the choice goes by forever, ’twixt that darkness and that light.
Then to side with truth is noble, when we share her wretched crust,
Ere her cause bring fame and profit, and ’tis prosperous to be just;
Then it is the brave man chooses while the coward stands aside,
Till the multitude make virtue of the faith they had denied.
By the light of burning martyrs, Christ, Thy bleeding feet we track,
Toiling up new Calv’ries ever with the cross that turns not back;
New occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth,
They must upward still and onward, who would keep abreast of truth.
Though the cause of evil prosper, yet the truth alone is strong;
Though her portion be the scaffold, and upon the throne be wrong;
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above His own.
“A thinking person will question what he hears; examine what he sees; and evaluate what others would have him believe.”
“When did big government and its mainstream media tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?”
[Pastor emeritus Nathan M. Bickel]
