What Would The World Be Like? Thank You From Moralmatters 2014

It is with tender and humble delight that this Moralmatters author, Nathan M. Bickel, extends a “Thank you,” to all who have visited this particular website, this past year of 2014.

This author is not ashamed or remiss in being reminded that Moralmatters.org is not a “run-of-the-mill” website. He recalls the recent past, when a faithful friend offered him a very acute and wise piece of advice. The admonition came in form of a challenge, to take a simple walk and offer a specific prayer:

“Nathan – go take a walk. And while you are walking,  pray to the Lord, the following:

‘Lord: What would the world be like without Moralmatters?’ Who would author it?'”

That was the gist of the encouraging conversation as I remember it. Nathan took the advice and before he finished his (praying) walk, he was convinced that he had better side-step and forego his personal frustrations, pride and feelings of inadequacy – and continue on with Moralmatters.org!

DivineJusticeYes, Pastor emeritus Nathan Bickel, becomes weary. At times, he is even a frail soul. Often, he becomes disappointed with his fellow American people. Sometimes he becomes very frustrated that the masses (seemingly) are slow to “catch on” to the political, secret and even “devilish ‘games'” which are perpetrated against this United States Constitutional Republic and against this nation of 330 million people.

However, this Moralmatters author knows by his personal faith in God Almighty / Savior Christ, that truth will prevail and that lifestyle liars and deceivers will be sentenced and punished to a forever damnation hell. In eternity hereafter, the Lord of all will balance the scales. He will make right that which is wrong. He will administer His holy justice, without fail!

Presently, this Moralmatters author is recalling the past movie, “Hook.” Essentially it was (is) a modern version of the 50’s “Peter Pan.” One of the famous lines spoken by the wicked ship captain and arch-foe (of Peter Pan) was him musing out-loud:

“What would the world be without Captain Hook?”

That answer quickly came towards the end of the popular movie. The world was much improved without evil Captain Hook. He was soon, destroyed – eaten by the huge crocodile. The world is always better off with evil being eliminated and those who perpetrate that evil, being temporally scratched from this global scene.

But, now, to ask the following 2 questions:

“What would the world be without those who oppose evil? What would it be like if all those who cherish the truth, threw in their towels of resistance and virtue?”

This author believes the best answer to these 2 aforementioned questions, was answered by the 1 question Jesus Christ posed to His disciples, as recorded in the documented history of the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus Christ stated to those who believed (and still believe) in Him:

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:13-16 – NKV

GodAlmightyHolyHolyFriends of those seeking reality and truth – and those who already possess that intimate truth-relationship with Creator Christ:

Don’t allow your frustration with present global evils, engulf you! Don’t give-in to personally (felt) inadequacies! Don’t allow the seeming (temporal) transitory “victory” of the “political-world-evil” to defeat you. Arrive at the point in your life when you can believe with certainty that the wicked and their wickedness will be duly dealt a heavy-handed and decisive blow! Evil will not prevail. Truth cannot be conquered. The One who is that Truth will see to it!

Psalm 76:12 – “…He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth…..” – KJV
