GW Bush Presidential Library’s Modern Version of Night of the Living Dead

Night of the Living Dead – The Old Version:

Night of the Living Dead – The Modern Version:

BushLibraryPictureSentByR.

Pic of 4 past US presidents and their wives posing for a photograph with White House occupier and his wife at the celebration of the new George W. Bush Presidential Library.

Why do US presidents feel they must provide for succeeding generations, libraries dedicated in their names and memories? Are these libraries (at best) guilt offerings in disguise (form) of self-praise? Are these presidential efforts, attempts at on-going historical revisionism?

Why can’t these past presidents trust future history to be a rightful judge of their individual stewardships? Is their motivation (for these libraries) born out of a paranoid disposition? Do they feel that  their commission and omission “contributions” to America  might go unnoticed, diminished or even damned by present and future generations?

Why do presidents go to all this trouble just to make sure that the future public, revere their names and their [supposed] accomplishments for America’s welfare and continued pursuits, for  life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

That was…boring…pointless…and uninteresting in every way imaginable

    1. Shawn –

When I authored, formatted and posted this article, I suspected that it would not touch everyone’s funny bone; or be compatible with those who think it unseemly or ungodly to be critical of US presidents. I’m sorry that you are, apparently in the small minority who didn’t like this particular posting. When I shared it on my 2 Facebook pages, I had only one other objecting type of comment, compared to many likes and shares.

But, be that as it may, I hope you aren’t one of those many complacent Christians who have a varient view of Romans 13:1-8. This view would have Americans blessed with First Amendment rights to clam up over the evils of big government and governmental leaders. If you are one of those Christians saddled by the past teaching of allowing government to run roughshod over its citizenry, I encourage you to read the following article of mine and access the 2 topical messages on how a Christian is to respond to government, towards the end of the article. Those 2 messages are on my other lesser known website of http://www.thechristianmessage.org

    2. Shawn –

Here, [below] if you are interested are those two informational links I mentioned in my long reply to you:
